Coimbatore-based AI services startup Aivar has raised $4.6 million in a seed funding round, led by Sorin Investments, with participation from Bessemer Venture Partners. The company plans to use the funds to expand its footprint in India, the US, and the Middle East, while continuing to invest in AI accelerators, senior talent, and international delivery capabilities.
Founded in 2024 by former AWS colleagues Kousik Rajendran, Praveen Jayakumar, Ashwin Ram Ravichandran, and Aadharsh Ayappan, Aivar positions itself as an AI-focused technology services partner. It works with startups, tech-led companies, and large enterprises, offering fast, production-ready AI solutions backed by AWS validation.
Focus on AI Accelerators and Enterprise Automation
Aivar’s work goes beyond consulting, with a strong focus on building AI accelerators that address real operational challenges. One such accelerator, Velogent, has been used to improve contract processing for a logistics SaaS provider dealing with complex, document-heavy workflows.
The solution streamlined three-way invoice matching across contracts, payment orders, and invoices using agent-based AI. In addition, Aivar developed systems for automated contract intake, intelligent document analysis, reconciliation, and the creation of records within supply chain platforms, reducing manual effort and speeding up operations.
Commenting on the company’s approach, co-founder and CEO Kousik Rajendran said enterprises today need partners who can handle end-to-end AI transformation, not just tools. He noted that Aivar’s accelerator-driven model helps deliver results in weeks instead of months.
Sorin Investments partner Mandar Dandekar added that Aivar stands out by combining deep cloud expertise with AI-native accelerators that help companies turn intent into measurable impact.
