Eternal Limited has signed a partnership with OpenAI to expand artificial intelligence tools across its network of consumer and partner platforms, including Zomato, Blinkit, District, Hyperpure, Feeding India and its AI-focused venture, Nugget.
Under the arrangement, OpenAI’s Enterprise API will be introduced across Eternal’s apps and internal systems. The effort is aimed at embedding AI into daily processes rather than treating it as a separate feature.
Embedding AI Across Consumer Apps and Partner Operations
For restaurant and delivery partners, the company is working on AI-driven assistance within partner dashboards. These tools are expected to help with routine operational tasks, compliance checks and faster decision-making. Eternal is also testing AI-led improvements in search and discovery across its consumer platforms.
The company said reliability and speed will remain a priority as these features are rolled out.
Nugget, which operates as Eternal’s AI-native initiative, will use OpenAI models in certain product areas to refine features and speed up iteration.
Within the organisation, Eternal is considering adding OpenAI’s coding models, including GPT-5.3-Codex, to Stitch — its internal automation and workflow system. Stitch connects engineering and non-engineering teams, and management believes AI-assisted coding could cut down manual effort and help release updates more efficiently.
Albinder Dhindsa, Group CEO of Eternal, said the company is still learning how newer AI systems can be applied effectively across both technology and operations. He described the partnership as an opportunity to experiment and expand practical use cases.
Oliver Jay, Managing Director of OpenAI International, said Eternal operates at scale across multiple platforms and industries. He added that applying AI in real-world environments requires steady integration into working systems.
The companies are also evaluating a structured programme designed to help restaurant and delivery partners adopt AI tools more confidently. The plan involves placing AI assistants directly within partner apps to assist with daily business functions.
The partnership reflects Eternal’s broader move to make AI part of its core infrastructure rather than an add-on capability.
