The new Innovation Hub will be powered by Infosys Topaz Fabric, an agentic services framework built on a multi-layer AI architecture that connects infrastructure, models, data, applications, and workflows into a unified, agent-ready environment.

According to the companies, this setup will help create scalable AI capabilities that simplify and speed up the rollout of new financial products and digital banking services.

The initiative builds on an existing AI transformation partnership between Citizens Financial Group and Infosys, which has already focused on boosting innovation and improving customer experiences across the bank’s operations.

Through the Bengaluru hub, Citizens aims to deepen the use of AI and advanced technologies across its technology ecosystem, while also developing a highly skilled global talent base.

The collaboration also reinforces Citizens Financial Group’s positioning as a technology-led regional bank, while showcasing Infosys’ experience in building AI-enabled operating models for financial institutions worldwide.

Commenting on the partnership, Michael Ruttledge, Chief Information Officer and Head of Enterprise Technology and Security at Citizens Financial Group, said the collaboration is helping embed advanced AI at the heart of the bank’s operations to deliver more modern, secure, and personalised customer experiences.

Dennis Gada, Executive Vice President and Global Head of Banking and Financial Services at Infosys, said banks today must balance rapid modernisation with rising customer expectations, adding that the partnership supports Citizens’ shift toward an AI-first, future-ready operating model.
