Accenture has backed Replit with a new investment, while also entering into a partnership to push AI-led software development deeper into enterprise environments.

The move signals how quickly companies are rethinking the way software gets built, with AI tools now playing a much bigger role in speeding up development.

Under the collaboration, the two firms will focus on bringing practical, scalable AI-driven development workflows to large organisations. The goal is to help businesses cut down the time it takes to move from an idea to a working application, and eventually to full production. Financial details of the deal have not been shared.

Enterprises are increasingly leaning on AI to simplify coding, reduce setup complexity, and remove bottlenecks that traditionally slow down development cycles. This partnership is designed to respond directly to that shift.

Ram Ramalingam, who heads Software and Platform Engineering at Accenture globally, said businesses today are under pressure to build and launch applications faster than ever. He explained that working with Replit will help more teams turn ideas into functional products without getting stuck in technical hurdles.

Replit’s platform brings together coding tools, AI-assisted development, collaboration features, and hosting in a single cloud-based setup. Its AI agents can write and update code, allowing teams to develop and deploy applications without worrying about infrastructure management.

Ghazi Masood, Chief Revenue Officer at Replit, said the company has always aimed to make software creation easier and more accessible. He noted that partnering with Accenture will help extend these capabilities to a broader range of enterprises, making it easier for teams to go from concept to deployment in less time.

Accenture added that its experience in rolling out technology across large organisations, combined with Replit’s platform, will help businesses adopt AI-driven development more smoothly while fitting into their existing engineering systems.
