Bengaluru-based AI startup Yellow.ai has introduced Nexus Vox, a new enterprise voice AI platform designed to help businesses deliver multilingual customer support with more natural and human-like interactions. The platform supports more than 500 languages and dialects, including several Indian regional languages and Hinglish.

The company says Nexus Vox has been built as a fully integrated voice AI system instead of depending on multiple third-party services for speech recognition, conversational AI, and voice generation. This approach is aimed at reducing delays and improving the overall reliability of AI-powered voice conversations.

According to Yellow.ai, the platform delivers response times below 400 milliseconds, making conversations feel closer to real human interactions. One of the major highlights is its voice cloning feature, which allows businesses to recreate voices from short audio samples and use them across different languages.

The launch comes as companies increasingly invest in AI-driven customer service tools, especially in markets like India where handling multiple languages and dialects remains a major challenge.

Raghu Ravinutala, CEO and Co-founder of Yellow.ai, said enterprise voice AI systems have traditionally relied on several disconnected vendor APIs, which often increase latency and create operational issues.

The company said Nexus Vox was developed with Indian business environments in mind, where conversations frequently involve code-switching between languages, regional accents, and noisy surroundings.

The platform also includes features such as real-time sentiment analysis, omnichannel deployment across phone and web channels, and integration with Indian language AI models developed by Sarvam AI under the IndiaAI Mission.

Yellow.ai said the technology is already being used across industries including banking, insurance, aviation, and customer service. Existing deployments include AI voice systems for motor insurance claims processing and multilingual customer support operations.

Founded in 2016, Yellow.ai currently works with more than 600 enterprises across 85 countries and continues to expand its AI and engineering teams in Bengaluru.
