Cyber threats are no longer slow or predictable. In many cases, attacks now unfold within hours, leaving very little time for companies to react.
To deal with this shift, Accenture has launched Cyber.AI, a platform built to make cybersecurity more continuous and less reactive.
The idea is fairly straightforward—use AI to handle the speed and scale that human teams alone often struggle with. Cyber.AI is powered by Claude, an AI model from Anthropic, which helps the system understand large amounts of security data and respond more quickly.
Instead of waiting for alerts to pile up, the platform can analyse what’s happening in real time and take action where needed. This can make a noticeable difference, especially for organisations dealing with complex systems and constant threats.
There’s also a growing concern around how AI itself is being used. As more businesses adopt autonomous tools, keeping them under control becomes just as important as using them. Cyber.AI includes a feature called Agent Shield, which allows companies to monitor these systems and ensure they stay within set rules.
The broader industry is already feeling the pressure. AI-related risks are rising, and many organisations now see them as one of the biggest challenges in cybersecurity.
Cyber.AI is designed to support different stages of security work—from setting things up to identifying and fixing problems. By automating routine processes, it gives teams more space to focus on decisions that actually need human judgment.
Early examples suggest the platform is already making an impact. One large agriculture company used it to improve how employees access systems and to speed up internal technology changes, while also tightening security.
Accenture has also used Cyber.AI internally. The company says it managed to cut down the time needed for security scans from days to under an hour. At the same time, it expanded coverage across its systems and improved overall efficiency.
All of this reflects a bigger change in how companies are approaching cybersecurity. Instead of reacting after something happens, the focus is shifting toward staying prepared at all times.
Cyber.AI seems to be part of that shift—where speed, automation, and control all come together to handle a new generation of cyber risks.
