Enterprises are rapidly exploring Agentic AI, and partnerships between technology providers and service companies are becoming key to bringing these systems into real-world operations. In line with this trend, HCLTech has expanded its collaboration with Google Cloud to help organisations adopt Agentic AI solutions powered by Gemini models.
Under the expanded partnership, HCLTech will use Gemini Enterprise and the Gemini family of AI models to design and deploy custom AI agents for enterprise clients around the world. These agents are intended to integrate artificial intelligence directly into business applications, operational workflows, and decision-making systems.
The collaboration will also make use of Google Workspace to improve enterprise collaboration and strengthen security as organisations move forward with AI-driven digital transformation.
According to the companies, many AI agents created by HCLTech are already available through the Google Cloud Marketplace, allowing enterprises to quickly deploy solutions tailored to their needs.
The partnership establishes a more structured programme focused on accelerating the adoption of generative AI and Agentic AI among enterprise customers. It also aims to expand HCLTech’s ecosystem of Google Cloud specialists while supporting more than 2,000 AI-focused customer engagements worldwide.
Several areas of development are expected to be part of the initiative. These include creating new AI-driven solutions, expanding capabilities for agent-based AI systems, strengthening workforce training, and launching dedicated AI innovation hubs in different regions.
HCLTech also plans to integrate its AI Force platform with Google’s Gemini models and Gemini Code Assist tools. This integration is expected to improve software development processes and IT operations by introducing AI-driven automation and intelligence. In addition, the collaboration will support enterprises that are migrating workloads to Google Cloud from platforms such as Oracle, SAP, and VMware, while also helping them modernise security infrastructure.
The company intends to further strengthen its Agentic Center of Excellence by developing industry-specific AI agents and enhancing existing platforms like Insight for the manufacturing sector and Netsight for telecommunications.
As part of the initiative, HCLTech and Google Cloud will introduce “Gemini Experience Zones,” which will function as physical innovation centres in key global locations. These hubs are designed to demonstrate AI technologies and give enterprises hands-on opportunities to experiment with advanced AI solutions.
HCLTech also plans to expand its pool of Google Cloud-certified professionals significantly. The company aims to grow its certified workforce from about 12,000 to more than 35,000 specialists within the next three years, strengthening its ability to support large-scale AI deployments for enterprise clients.
Vijay Guntur, Chief Technology Officer and Head of Ecosystems at HCLTech, said the collaboration highlights the companies’ shared vision of helping organisations scale AI adoption in line with their business goals. He noted that the partnership will bring combined capabilities to industries worldwide, enabling customers to achieve new efficiencies, deeper insights, and long-term growth.
Kevin Ichhpurani, President of Global Ecosystem and Channels at Google Cloud, added that HCLTech is helping bring Gemini Enterprise solutions to a broader customer base through its industry-focused offerings. With thousands of Google Cloud-trained experts and strong implementation experience, he said the company is already delivering production-ready AI agents for enterprises.
Together, the expanded partnership reflects the growing role of AI ecosystems in helping businesses move from experimentation to large-scale AI deployment.
